Where do we begin? When so much needs to monumentally change, where do you start? It can be overwhelming, and in a city of 8.5 million people, easy to also feel it's not your problem to solve.

Our commonwealth is an emerging community organization striving to connect the arts with creative problem solving. Hosting events to showcase complex issues through spoken word, film, photography, dance, etc. we then build off this awareness to reflect and discuss potential solutions to community problems. Who is to say we’re not the hero we’ve been waiting for? 

We are collections of our lived experiences, and it is through understanding ourselves and relating to others that we can create new solutions. Community challenges affect each of us differently, and imaging solutions collectively ensures these ideas could exist in practice.

Our goal is to foster community and connection while empowering participants to actively engage in conversations we may only discuss in our echo chambers.
